Night to Shine
Throughout this past year we have prayed for Night to Shine 2021 – would it happen or be canceled. The good news from Tim Tebow is that Night to Shine is not canceled! Like many things, it is going to look a little different. Night to Shine is going virtual! While the prom itself will not be held physically, what remains the same is a night set aside to honor the kings and queens of the prom – Friday, February 12, 2021.
So what does this mean for St. Paul? We are hosting a drive-thru pre prom event to help our guests get ready for the prom. As the guests arrive at St. Paul they will be greeted at a welcome station much like being on the red carpet. As they drive around our campus, they will stop at various stations to receive corsages and boutonnieres, crowns and tiaras, gift bags, as well as other prom items. The guests will not exit their cars. All items will be brought to them by volunteers at each station.
This event is much smaller than the prom, but we still need your help. We need paparazzi – lots of cheering and waving fans. We want to line the drive around the campus with paparazzi. Because this is a non-contact event, background checks and training are not required. The drive-thru will run from 4:30-5:30pm, Friday, February 12th. (Volunteer time: 4:15-5:45pm)
