VIA DE CRISTO

The journey begins with a 3-day retreat in which sponsored individuals examine their ideals and their relationships with Christ. Participants learn more about Christian ideal and how they impact their communities through Apostolic Action, Piety, and Study. Once equipped, participants are encouraged to maintain their walk through accountability with their brothers and/or sisters in christ.

RADICAL MENTORING

Mission

Radical Mentoring helps men become godlier men and to live God-centric lives by focusing on our character and the important relationships in our lives, especially our relationship with God. We need next generation leaders who are sold out to Jesus Christ, and Radical Mentoring intends to help men become the men God created us to be. We all are in-process. The program was developed in 2008 in Atlanta and is followed at over 450 Christian churches in the USA and internationally.

This program involves a commitment to personal assignments and group schedules under the guidance of one to three St. Paul mentors. A mentoring experience in a small group of less than seven men gathering during ten months. Each man commits to completing monthly assignments usually involving a spouse activity, reading some predetermined books (or listening to audiobooks), reading and memorizing Scripture, and meeting for two to three hours with the group for discussion of the assignments and book. A one-on-one meeting is also held monthly for sharing and discussion.

Men experience transparency and accountability with other Christian men. Topics include accountability, humility, shame, grace, faith, prayer, discipleship, marriage and fatherhood. Men must have wife support and commit to a schedule set monthly by the group.

When We Meet

Radical Mentoring is a nine-month program for men that focuses on character development and the important relationships with Jesus Christ. Particiapnts read an assigned book each month, complete personal assignments (usually with wives), read scripture, and meet in small groups to discuss the practices of a christian man.

This group typically ranges in age from 30 to 50
A new group generally starts every September.

Cost:$100 for books
